Police have arrested 400 suspected criminals in a two-week anticrime crackdown across the country.

The crackdown seeks to clear criminal hideouts and put a stop to criminal activities including stealing and robbery in the country.

The operation comes amid public outcry about criminal activities.

“In a two-week operation of raiding and patrol led by AIG Operation, Landing Bojang, over 400 people allegedly involved in different offenses were arrested and screened for further police action,” police said.
