Gambian champions Real de Banjul have been drawn against Moroccan giants AS FAR in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League, setting up a tough opening test for the league winners.
The first leg will be played in Banjul, offering Real de Banjul a chance to capitalise on home advantage before travelling to Rabat for the decisive return fixture.

Real de Banjul head into the continental competition on the back of a dominant domestic campaign that saw them clinch the Gambian league title in style. However, they will face a formidable challenge in AS FAR, one of North Africa’s most successful clubs with a rich history in African football.
