The Senegalese Football Federation has strongly condemned CAF’s recent ruling on the AFCON 2025 final, describing it as “unfair, unprecedented, and UNACCEPTABLE,” adding that it “brings DISREPUTE TO AFRICAN FOOTBALL.”

In an official statement, the Federation confirmed it will take the matter further, stating: “In order to defend its rights and the interests of Senegalese football, the Federation will, as soon as possible, initiate AN APPEAL PROCEDURE BEFORE THE COURT OF ARBITRATION FOR SPORT (CAS) in Lausanne.”

The Senegalese Football Federation also reaffirmed its commitment to core values, saying it maintains “its unwavering commitment to the values of integrity and sporting justice,” and will keep the public informed on any developments regarding the case.
