Omar Jarju, President of the Sports Journalists Association of The Gambia (SJAG), has called on journalists covering the Senegal vs The Gambia friendly in Dakar to uphold the core principles and ethics of the profession.

Omar described the match as a friendly with a difference, noting that it will also serve as a special home celebration of Senegal’s AFCON triumph.

The SJAG has facilitated the transport and accommodation of over 40 Gambian journalists for the trip to Dakar, ensuring strong media presence for the highly anticipated encounter.
