The Gambia has made history at the inaugural ANOCA African School Games in Algeria, securing an impressive 12 medals the country’s highest-ever tally at a multi-sport event.

Out of the 26 athletes who represented the nation, 18 returned home with medals, showcasing Gambia’s rising talent on the continental stage.
