Drug law enforcement officers have arrested two Gambian men with suspected pills of ecstasy.

The Gambia National Drug Law Enforcement Agency’s spokesman, Ousman Saidybah, announced that the suspects were arrested in Mandinaba. 

“A 25-year-old Yusupha Kanteh, a resident of Brikama was arrested at Mandinaba with 22 pills of Ecstasy which is concealed in a white paper and placed inside a transparent nylon bag and further placed under the front seat carpet of a taxi with a registration number WCR 9336B.”

The suspect’s accomplice was also arrested. He was identified as Ousman Fatty, a resident of Old Jeshwang.

The 27-year-old was said to be the alleged dealer of the ecstasy police found in the possession of Yususpha Kanteh.
