A U.S. pastor has arrived in Banjul with a mission to bring hope and healing to Gambians searching for miracles.
Evangelist Jacob Ebersole and his delegation are scheduled to stage a series of miracle prayers at the Independence Stadium starting November 6, 2025.
The event is expected to draw large crowds from across the country.
Speaking to reporters at the Pastor Alliance event held at Sun Beach Hotel, Pastor Evangelist Jacob Ebersole said he could feel the presence of Jesus in the room.
“I don’t want you to miss this moment because I truly believe that those who attend the prayers at Independence Stadium will see their lives change. My life was transformed in a moment like this,” he said, expressing hope that attendees would experience life-changing miracles.
Pastor Sylvester Jammeh, a member of the delegation, also spoke about the impact of the prayers.
“We are expecting miracles to hit this nation because God is still in the business of healing people. Miracles will take place, and we invite all Gambians to come out because God will touch them,” he said.
The pastors emphasized that the sessions were open to everyone, including the sick, the troubled, and those seeking spiritual encouragement. They urged Gambians not to miss this rare opportunity, stressing that it could be a turning point in their lives.
The visit reflects the growing influence of international religious figures in The Gambia, where faith-based initiatives often draw massive attendance and play a significant role in social and spiritual life.
Organizers say the prayers aim to inspire hope, bring physical healing, and encourage unity among communities.
The Independence Stadium will serve as the central venue for the prayers, and security arrangements have been put in place to manage the expected crowds.
