The United Democratic Party (UDP) has expressed deep sorrow at the death of Alhagie Dembo Bojang, the National President of the ruling National People’s Party (NPP) and former senior member of the UDP.

Bojang, widely known as “Dembo By Force,” was a founding member of the UDP and served as its National President for many years before joining the NPP, where he became a close adviser to President Adama Barrow.

In a statement, the UDP described him as “a unifying leader whose wisdom, humility, and courage guided the party during its most challenging years.”
