Ukrainian forces have reportedly attacked two Gambia-flagged oil tankers in the Black Sea, which are alleged to be part of Russia’s so-called “shadow fleet” used to evade Western sanctions.

The vessels, identified as Kairos and Virat, were targeted in drone strikes and are said to have been empty at the time of the attack. Both ships are now reported to be out of service.
