Former Gambia U-20 midfielder Wally Fofana has signed for Latvian Cup holders FK Auda as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with BFC Daugavpils.

The 23-year-old midfielder remains in the Latvian Virslīga after completing the switch to FK Auda, where he is expected to bolster the club’s midfield ahead of the new domestic season.

Fofana joined BFC Daugavpils after a spell with Belgian club Westerlo’s reserve side and went on to gain valuable experience in the Latvian top division.

During his time at Daugavpils, he established himself as a regular squad member and contributed with goals and assists in league competition.

His move to FK Auda marks a new chapter for the young Gambian midfielder as he continues his professional career in Europe.
