The defending champion Wellingara Community emerged winners of the President Barrow-sponsored Brikama Sports Committee Inter-Kabilo Tournament Super Cup after edging Jambarr Sanneh Kabilo 3–2 on penalties following a thrilling 2–2 draw in regulation time.
The encounter lived up to expectations from the first whistle. Alieu Gassama handed Wellingara the lead in the first half with a delightful left-footed strike.

Yankuba Bussum later doubled the advantage from the penalty spot to put the defending champions firmly in control.
Jambarr Sanneh, however, refused to back down. Sarjo Marena reduced the deficit from the penalty spot before Sulayman Jules Sagna rose to meet a cross with a glancing header to restore parity and send the match to a decisive shootout.

In the post-match penalties, Wellingara held their nerve to secure a 3–2 victory. Yankuba Bussum missed a potential winning kick for Wellingara, while Lamin Harding also failed to convert a decisive effort for Jambarr Sanneh in the tense finale.
As champions, Wellingara walked away with D15,000 and a glittering trophy, while Jambarr Sanneh received D10,000 as runners-up.
The Super Cup attracted several high-profile dignitaries including Youth and Sports Minister Bakary Y. Badjie, Acting Executive Director of the National Sports Council Mahmoud L. Jawla, West Coast Regional Football Association President Bakary Bojang, Governor of West Coast Region Ousman Bojang, Presidential Youth Adviser Lamin K. Saidy, Special Adviser to the President Momodou Sabally, Permanent Secretary for Sports Bulli Dibba and Hon. Abdou Sowe, among others.
